“I interviewed and got home builder estimates from at least seven companies before selecting RJF. The price was comparable to others, but Jim’s attention to detail in performing the estimate and in the questions he asked, were a big selling point. Plus, he was available to work almost immediately. The basement is about 1,100 square feet, and I was looking for something fairly basic- complete a roughed-in bathroom, build an office/bedroom, enclose the utility equipment (in the middle of the floor) and keep the rest of the space as open as possible. I also had plans for a small wet bar, which required additional plumbing. Jim suggested a built-in bookcase in a little nook that was going to be formed due to the utility enclosure, and it turned out great. He also saw where I’d need more lighting due to odd corners and a low ceiling section. His recommendation on the wet bar location turned out to be just where I needed it to go.
